Coronavirus (COVID-19): Advice for Event Organisers

We are all subject to the on-going Government restrictions programme and understand the impact this is still having on event organisers and the difficult circumstances that arise as a result.  The Council has to adhere to the current restrictions on public gatherings. Scotland has now moved beyond the protection levels system.

The Scottish Government has announced updated guidelines and restrictions in Scotland. From 17 January 2022, large outdoor events can resume without physical distancing or capacity limits. Indoor events, however, are still limited to 100 people (standing) and 200 people (seated). COVID certification will remain where more than 4,000 standing or 10,000 seated are in attendance, and all other events and venues previously covered.
