Powering the Green Arts

14 May 2019

Creative Carbon Scotland has teamed up with Good Energy to help organisations from across Scotland’s arts & cultural sector take climate action. This new partnership is developing skills workshops, online resources and green energy opportunities for people working across theatre, dance, music, literature, visual arts, screen, and the creative industries, helping to upskill the Scottish cultural sector to tackle the climate crisis.

Understanding the sector’s needs to provide effective support
An important part of this work is to understand the views and needs of the sector to make sure the workshops, resources and opportunities support the sector as effectively as possible.

We would welcome your help in shaping this work by taking roughly 5 minutes to respond to the survey (also get entered into a draw for £100 John Lewis voucher), and sharing with your network.

Powering the Green Arts – Workshops
The partnership is supporting two FREE interactive workshops to develop knowledge, provide helpful resources and discuss cultural organisations’ energy challenges (and their potential solutions!). The workshops will focus on why and how renewable energy is transforming our sector and our society and empower individuals and organisations in the Scottish cultural sector to make informed decisions about their energy use and supply and how they can be part of a sustainable solution to the climate crisis.
